LONI Workshop

Location: Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge, LA (Pinchback Hall - Hi Tech Classroom 123)

Topic: The workshop will be an introductory workshop covering overview of LONI, introduction to LONI HPC environment on Dell Linux machines, introduction to Parallel Computing, scientific visualization and introduction to MPI. There will also be short talks by Southern HPC researchers to demonstrate how HPC skills can enhance your computational research. This workshop is an excellent opportunity for our research community to get familiar with and be involved in the using high performance computing facility and techniques at LONI.

Prerequisites: Programming expereince in C or Fortran (All examples will be in C and Fortran), a LONI account, and a laptop.
